Let’s face it, we all experience times where we feel like we’re in a rut, that place where we feel stuck and we just haven’t found a way to extract ourselves and move forward. When we’re feeling wedged/trapped/jammed, we often feel frustrated, depleted of energy, or anxious, just to name a few. Often times what is holding us captive are conflict and grief. These two struggles can exist within the personal relationship with our Self or Others, in our work, and in any philanthropic support we might wish to bestow upon our planet or the people around us.
How do we get unstuck? We heal our heartaches both big and small. Easier said than done, right?
Wrong. Though there is work to be done, the path to resolution from your current conflict might not be as far removed from you as you imagine it to be.
The answer(s) lie within you and The Five Facets Philosophy is the road map that can help you find your way to the life you want to live.
How is it that some people can go on to live happy, healthy lives following tragedy while others succumb to drugs, despair, a life of void, or suicide?Annah Elizabeth
One question plagued Annah Elizabeth following her son’s unexpected death: How is it that some people can go on to live happy, healthy lives following tragedy while others succumb to drugs, despair, a life of void, or suicide? Underneath that plea are the other questions all too familiar to many of us: Am I good enough? Do I have what it takes? Am I lacking something that They have?
Further challenges like miscarriages, infidelity, and a severe depression that involved a six-week psychiatric stay drove Annah to delve even deeper into examining the success others had found and discovering what she needed. What she ultimately learned is that though there is no singular answer that caters to each one of us, there are five identical traits that we are all born with.
You, Journeyer, are born with the exact same resources as every other person on the planet. Each and ever one of us is born with an academic ability to learn; an ability to feel emotion and to connect with the world around us; we are each born in a physical body into a physical environment; and we are each born with a spirit, the very essence of who we are.
Understanding how each of these facets works within and for us not only helps us transition from conflict and grief to healing and peace, they allow us to live our best personal, professional, and philanthropic life.
This work picks up in that space where grief begins to soften, in that place where you begin to realize that your conflict or bereavement is no longer serving a purpose and might actually be holding you back from living the life you want to live.
