The Circle of Life

Happy Sunday, Journeyer!

I know you will understand and appreciate the brevity of this post.

I spent this past week preparing projects for this work, to train and certify five of our neighbors in the Integrated Energy Therapy® modality, and working my Outside Job.

Today sums up so much of what Life is all about.

In a matter of hours, I attended a bridal shower, an eighty-six-year old’s funeral, and a two-year-old’s birthday.

Everything comes back around in the Circle of Life, Journeyer.

I also spent the week preparing for the surprise retirement party I’m organizing for my father next week, and gathering everything I need to pack in the car.

For all those who are grieving some loss, may you remember that light always follows the darkness and and may you know eternal hope.

I’d like to close this quick post with a poem on the funeral program. May it bring you the happiness it brought me.

“A Beautiful Life”

A beautiful life

that came to an end,

he died as he lived,

everyone’s friend.

In our hearts a memory

will always be kept,

of one we loved, and will never forget.

Journeyer, one of the greatest honors I think I could possible receive upon my death would be that I was everyone’s friend.

Not that I didn’t have issues with people, but that everyone who knew me knew me as a compassionate and loving soul.

Blessings to you, Journeyer, for a beautiful week.

Yours in hope, healing, and happiness,
